GenomicPrep ™ Cells and Tissue DNA Isolation Kit is designed to isolate high
quality genomic DNA – suitable for use in Southern and dot/slot blot
hybridizations, PCR, sequencing and cloning – from cultured cells, nucleated
red blood cells, animal and plant tissue, and Gram-negative bacteria. The kit
is based on a modification of published procedures where salt is substituted
for toxic organic solvents in the deproteination step. Sufficient reagents are
provided for processing 5-50 samples, depending on the nature and size of the
sample.
