Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I purchase the biotinylated myelin basic protein (MBP) substrate from the MAP SPA Kinase kit separately?

A. The biotinylated MBP substrate is supplied in this kit (MAP Kinase SPA Assay, code RPNQ0200) as 25µM biotinylated MBP in a 10X kinase reaction buffer (500mM MOPS pH7.2, 10µM ATP, 50mM MgCl2) and can be purchased separately. It can be obtained at a 25µM concentration in 2.5 or 10mL volume (ordering code RPNQ0201 -2.5ml or -10ml). Additionally the peptide is available in 1, 10, or 50mL volumes at a 100µM concentration to meet higher throughput needs (ordering code RPNQ0202 - 1mL, -10mL, and -50mL). Requests for other formulations or sizes should be made through your local sales representative as a custom synthesis special order.
