GE Healthcare’s GoldSeal refurbished instruments program delivers high quality equipment at affordable prices.   All GoldSeal instruments are refurbished and tested to perform at the highest standards.  You can rest assured that your GoldSeal instrument will provide the reliable results you expect from GE Healthcare products.

Before any instrument can be sold through the GoldSeal program:

1. Each instrument is inspected and must meet specific quality standards. 
2. After meeting our quality criteria, the instruments undergo a rigorous refurbishment process, which includes instrument cleaning and replacement of components (such as valves, pumps and tubing) as necessary.
3. Lastly, each individual instrument component, as well as the entire instrument, are tested.

Every GoldSeal instrument comes with the same 1-year warranty as new instruments, as well as the ability to purchase a GE Healthcare service contract, which is only available on systems resold by GE Healthcare.  In addition, the ÄKTA instruments come with an updated Unicorn software license.
