Online encyclopedia for gene expression

  • Want to see where your genes of interest are being expressed in normal and diseased tissues?
  • Looking for alternatives to quantitative RT-PCR, Northern Blots, or other costly and time-consuming methods?
  • Are searches through published literature looking for gene expression data taking you away from more crucial research activities?
The new SCIANTIS™ System can help you!
This online gene expression data and analysis system provides in-depth microarray gene expression profiles from a broad range of clinically-relevant and difficult-to-obtain diseased and normal tissues from humans and animal models.

Based upon the largest commercial gene expression reference database, Gene Logic has developed SCIANTIS, an online gene expression analysis system. This system was built using Gene Logic's wealth of experience in human and animal sample processing and Affymetrix GeneChip® array data generation, management, and analysis.

Quickly navigate the web based software using built-in gene search tools to conduct your investigations and visualize the results instantly.

Most importantly, you are ensured of consistent data that are comparable between arrays and over time. Rigorous quality control standards are behind every single data point in the SCIANTIS System .

Two key elements of the system are the e-Northern® and Diff/X™ reports.
  • e-Northern reports allow you to easily compare the expression of a gene across a wide range of normal tissues.
  • Diff/X reports make it easy for you to view how a gene is differentially regulated between specific sample sets.
