Immobiline™ DryStrip gels for IEFGuidelines for choosing Immobiline DryStrip Gels
- User shorter strips for fast screening or when only the most abundant proteins are of interest.
- Use longer strips for maximal resolution and loading capacity.
- To overview total protein distribution, use pH 3-11 NL strips.
- For increased resolution between pH 5-7, use a nonlinear gradient pH 3-10 strip to distribute the proteins more evenly over the strip.
- Combine pH 3-7 NL and pH 6-11, pH 3-7 NL and pH 6-9, or select from 3-5.6 NL, 6.3-6.5, 6.2-7.5, and 7-11 NL when more detail is required.
- Use narrow pH range strips (1 pH unit to closely study proteins in the regions of interest).
