UNICORN™ 6 control software

UNICORN is used on all ÄKTA™ design systems and can be used throughout all stages of process development from the lab bench to full-scale production. It contains all the tools needed to perform all types of chromatography, from setting up and running a method to evaluating the data. UNICORN 6 control software has been specially developed for use with ÄKTA avant liquid chromatography system. ÄKTA avant, together with UNICORN 6, enables you to achieve fast and secure process development.

For easy usability, UNICORN 6 features a new graphical user interface that uses a familiar windows environment with object navigators, customizable docking windows, and drag-and-drop object handling. A Design of Experiments (DoE) tool is seamlessly integrated into UNICORN 6 to increase your productivity and efficiency. UNICORN 6 also has an improved Method Editor that is highly intuitive and flexible enough to be used by both beginners and experienced users.
