ÄKTA™ oligopilot™ plus

ÄKTA™ oligopilot™ plus is a flexible and fully automated DNA/RNA oligonucleotide synthesizer designed for use in research, process development laboratories, and production. ÄKTA oligopilot plus is designed to meet the needs of new synthesis chemistries like RNAi and enables cost-efficient and high-quality synthesis.

ÄKTA oligopilot plus is a compact, pump-driven system employing flow-through reactor technology, which results in significantly reduced reagent consumption, enables exact control of reaction rates and contact times, and allows smooth scale up. ÄKTA oligopilot plus features column re-circulation, an important factor when performing RNA synthesis. ÄKTA oligopilot plus is available in two different configurations: ÄKTAoligopilot plus 10 for synthesis in the 1-50 µmol range and ÄKTAoligopilot plus 100 for synthesis in the 50 µmol-9 mmol range.

Features and benefits

  • Flexibility in synthesis methods, chemistry, and scale.
  • Cost-efficient and high-quality synthesis.
  • Seven column positions and up to 12 monomer positions.
  • Easy scale-up due to flow-through technology.
  • On-line monitoring with conductivity and UV-monitors.
  • 21 CFR part 11 compatible UNICORN™ control software, as well as, Installation and Operational Qualification documentation are available.
