HiTrap™ Con A 4B - Prepacked columns for purification of glycoproteins

HiTrap Con A 4B are ready-to-use columns prepacked with Con A Sepharose™ 4B, a chromatography medium with the lectin concanavalin A (Con A) coupled to Sepharose 4B. Lectins are proteins that interact specifically and reversibly with certain sugar residues and are therefore invaluable tools for separation and purification of glycoproteins, polysaccharides, and glycolipids.

HiTrap Con A 4B columns belong to the HiTrap family of prepacked columns. These 1 ml and 5 ml columns provide simple and easy separations in a convenient format. They are delivered with a stopper on the inlet and a snap-off end on the outlet. HiTrap Con A 4B columns can be operated with a syringe, a peristaltic pump, or a liquid chromatography system such as ÄKTA™ design.
