RESOURCE™ columnsRESOURCE columns are prepacked with SOURCE™ 15 media. SOURCE media are based on a hydrophilic matrix made from monodispersed, rigid, polystyrene/divinyl benzene and substituted with hydrophobic ligands: phenyl, ether or isopropyl. The media demonstrate extreme chemical and physical stability. The small particle size allows fast binding and dissociation to facilitate high resolution while the uniformity and stability of the particles ensures high flow rates at low back pressure. RESOURCE column ProductsHydrophobic interaction chromatographyRESOURCE™ ETH, ISO, and PHE 1 ml columns are prepacked with SOURCE™ 15 HIC media containing ether, isopropyl, or phenyl ligands respectively. The choice of ligand depends entirely on the hydrophobicity of the target protein. The columns are available individually or as a set in RESOURCE HIC Test Kit, which allows screening of different ligands for optimal binding of target proteins and for method development at laboratory scale. Ion exchange chromatographyRESOURCE™ Q and S 1 ml and 6 ml columns are prepacked with the strong ion exchange media, SOURCE™ 15Q or SOURCE™ 15S. The relatively low backpressure on the columns at high flow rates makes high-resolution separations possible. Hydrophilization of the prepacked medium minimizes nonspecific adsorption and allows high recovery of purified sample. Reversed phase chromatographyRESOURCE™ RPC 1 ml and 3 ml columns provide fast and convenient separations on ÄKTA™design™ and HPLC systems. RESOURCE™ RPC 1 ml is ideal for rapid screening experiments whereas RESOURCE™ RPC 3 ml is better suited to method development where high resolution is critical.
