Products for small-scale GST-tagged protein purification
The Glutathione S-transferase (GST) Gene Fusion System from GE Healthcare is a versatile system for the expression, purification, and detection of GST-tagged proteins produced in E. coli. The system consists of pGEX plasmid expression vectors, products for GST purification, and a variety of GST detection products.
GE Healthcare announces the launch of new products in the GST range:
GST SpinTrap™ columns: For small-scale purification of up to 500 µg of GST-tagged protein using a microcentrifuge. Each package contains 50 columns prepacked with Glutathione Sepharose™ 4B chromatography medium.
GST GraviTrap™: 10 prepacked gravity-flow columns for purification of up to 20 mg of GST-tagged protein.
GST Bulk Kit: For small-scale manual purification of GST-tagged protein using either column chromatography or a batch method. Contains a 10 ml bulk pack of Glutathione Sepharose 4B, five disposable columns, IPTG, and GST Buffer Kit.
GST Buffer Kit: Contains carefully prepared buffer concentrates for binding, washing, and elution of GST-tagged protein according to recommended protocols, promoting fast, reproducible, and convenient purification work.
