Theory, Setup and Operation of Single-use WAVE Bioreactor (WAV1)

Course description

This practical two-day training course provides hands-on experience and theoretical background information for operation and optimum performance of the WAVE Bioreactor™. Training focuses on the system and experimental setup, probe calibration, sterile sampling, culture seeding, cell culture optimization and scale-up using laboratory practical exercises and theoretical training.

You will practice standard disposable cell culture techniques such as sterile tube sealing and welding. During the lecture sessions, various applications of the WAVE Bioreactor and associated devices for cell culture, perfusion, cell therapy and the use of microcarriers are presented and discussed.
