We study the performance of IN Cell Analyzer 6000 in a range of cell viability and cell cycle assays and demonstrate the advantages of this laser based line-scanning confocal imager over a conventional wide-field high-content imaging system. The data show that variable confocal imaging in each fluorescence channel allows you to optimize for speed and resolution in challenging high-content multiplex assays. A precise automated stage coupled with use of an environmental chamber also makes IN Cell Analyzer 6000 suitable for long-term kinetic imaging of cell populations by enabling multi- or single-well cell tracking experiments to be performed over extended incubation periods.
